1 cup (150g) scone mix
Pinch of salt
Plain flour, for dusting
1 egg, for glazing
Jam, for serving
1Preheat the oven to 200℃.
2Sift 1 cup of scone mix into a large bowl.
3Add in butter and salt, and then rub in with fingers until it resembles crumbs.
4Lightly dust a silicone baking mat with plain flour.
5Roll the dough into a 2cm-thick round. Cut out rounds by using a round cutter.
6Beat an egg well. Put the scones on a greased paper, brush the scone with beaten egg.
7Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until well risen at preheated 200℃ oven.
8Cool on a wire rack and serve warm with jam.
